She is a wife, mother, Grandmother and lives in North Charleston, South Carolina. Charlene attended Trident Technical College, where she earned an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been with Butterfly Academy since 2023, and before that she was an owner and director, program specialist, and a preschool teacher of several well-known center in the north Charleston over the past thirty years. Outside of work, Charlene enjoys eating out spending time with family and going on vacation. Her favorite quote is, "Yes We Can"

My favorite subjects are math and writing. I enjoy helping my students to find their true voice through creative arts as well.

Heel, my name is Lashawna. I'm ? yrs old (Lady) and I'm currently jot got my degree for Associates in Arts and Currently in the process of getting my Early Childhood Education degree. It's has always been my dream to work with kids because I feel like being a teacher is an amazing and favorite thing to do. Working with younger kids is amazing. to be a good teacher is one thing... to be a great teacher is to inspire children to always be remembered that the sky is just the being and not the limit is the greatest and beautiful feelings in the world to me. Great teacher will always be remembered and i wany nothing more than to shows kids love and that learning can be fun and amazing and i was a part of their journey that they are Strong Enough, Smart Enough, and Brave Enough to grow up to be amazing individuals!!
